Capture driver error

Post by mosley »

I have a Panasonic digital video recorder (VDR-M30). I want to capture (import) the moveis I recorded on this camera to my computer. I am using Ulead Movie Factory 4. I am getting the following error:

No capture driver is available in the system.
[13011:2:1]

I have searched the Ulead site, as well as this forum, but have not found help. What am I doing wrong?

Hello

This is known bug in DVD MF4, had a similar problem too using my Hauppauge PVR350 capture card, there is supposed to be a patch coming out, it was due at the end of April ? however Ulead still have not released anything yet,
As a suggestion you could try asking Ulead for DVD MF3 as I doubt your version of software will not support what you are trying to do.... yet ?????
Please search for my username in the support groups and read the bad news.

Ulead where is the patch ??????

You may have to use the capture/transfer software that came with your video card/camera. Video capture drivers don't seem to be as standardized as the drivers for more common computer stuff (like printers).

I have a Hauppauge card, and I use the Hauppauge WinTV-2000 software for capture.

Then, I use Ulead Video Studio or Womble MPEG Video Wizard for video editing (because Video Studio 8 caused the infamous lip-sync problem).

Then, I use Ulead DVD Workshop for DVD authoring.

Direct to DVD

OK! But I want to use UMF 4 to capture direct to dvd.
There is a lot of other functions that not works with this version.

I am happy that I didn´t buy it.
