I was able to creat sound file as MP3,but no more!!

hi there>
i used to edit my rm files and then save them as Mp3 to play in Carmp3player, but i don't know what happened, i can't find Mp3 format
in "save as type"menu.
i can find only wav mp4 ..... as shown in the picture:

and because my HDD is small so i can't convert to wav which have a huge size usually.
any help please??

Hi and welcome to the forum. I am no audio buff but I don't think that Video Studio could import RM files but I could be wrong. What version of Video Studio do you use for this. It is, BTW, a known fact that VS does not like MP3 files, that's why there are many occasions on this Forum where the advice is to use a third part software like Audacity to convert to other formats.

Not to confuse the topic, but that is not entirely true. I use MP3s all the time and do not have a problem. My MP3s are produced by iTunes. The type of MP3s that seem to cause trouble are those produced by the LAME codec (what Audacity uses).

I, too, have never known VS to produce MP3s. That's why I use iTunes to do it.
