I am looking to purchase the Canon VIXIA HF S100 High Definition Digital Camcorder. I have owned MediaStudio Pro 8 for several years. I love it:) Do you know if this camera will work with MediaStudio Pro 8? Appreciate it!!:)

Unfortunately, MSP 8 came out before the AVCHD format -- which your proposed camera uses -- emerged. So as far as I am aware, the only high definition format MSP can handle is HDV and not AVCHD... 
And as you know, MSP has now been abandoned by Corel...
