Is there something I'm missing about the "Save As Still Image" function in Ulead VideoStudio 9? I'm trying to save the first frame of a clip as a still image for video I'm using in my dissertation research. I click on "Save As Still Image" in the edit page, and in the "Clip" pull down menu, and nothing happens.
HELP!!!

Re: VideoStudio 9 - Save as Still Image
Welcome to the forums,
I just tested both the Save as still image (Video tab), and the Save current Frame as still image from the tools menu, and both work as they should. Have you checked the Image library for the image? It will be automatically named something like uvs 100053-001.bmp (or jpeg). VS always places a thumbnail in the default Image library. The actual image is saved in the folder/drive that you have designated as your Working Folder in the Preferences settings.
Now to use the Save as still image (video tab) you must be in Clip mode and have the clip selected. To use the Save Current Frame... option you must be in Project mode, with the playhead positioned on the timeline where you want to "take the screenshot".

Re: VideoStudio 9 - Save as Still Image
Ron,
I think my issues was the destination file. My preferences directed the images to a folder that doesn't exist. Once I changed that, it started working!!! THANK YOU!!! I can get on with the preparation of my dissertation stimulus tape!
