Hi all,
I have VideoStudio11 Plus from 2007, running on XP Pro. I have a project where I want to add a lot of titles. I have created a .utf file like this:
titles.utf
-----------
1
00:00:14,000 --> 00:00:17,519
Text of first title
2
00:00:17,519 --> 00:00:20,839
Text of second title
3
00:00:31,279 --> 00:00:36,159
Text of third title
etc etc
If I load this lot in then I get a default text of Times New Roman (I forget the size). I want to change this without having to change each of 50 titles. Is there a config file VS reads when it starts up (and if so, where is it?!) that sets all this up ? Have not been successful finding this anywhere, so any help much appreciated. Since this info is clearly not in the .utf file, I am curious as to where VS stores it ...
Thx/

And what font is showing when you open VS? I have never tried what you are doing, but when I open VS the font title is set to whatever I had used previously. Maybe if you do that first (set the font) then when you insert your premade ones it will use the same font.

Re: VideoStudio 11Plus default fonts for Titles
Hi,
well i put in a couple of titles manually setting them to arial/30 pt . Then when I load in lots more it seems everything gets set to Times New Roman/18.
I couldn't find anywhere in the project to set a default for this .. I suspect somewhere there must be some kind of init file, or is it likely it's picking up some winXP default ?!
Thx
Marcus

Re: VideoStudio 11Plus default fonts for Titles
Hi,
should have said, what I am trying to do (from 20,000 ft) is to select a bunch of separate titles, and change ALL their fonts to <arial, whatever>. Not sure if there is a way of doing that or if it's a case of cup of coffee (or two) and go at them one by one. Very handily when I load them from the .utf file it seems to centre them at the bottom of the frame which is sort of what I want ....
