Overlay track (still image, keep aspect ratio)

Post by westlight »

For the first time I'm trying to add a still image in the overlay track of a 1440x1080 video. All looks fine until I render it. Then the images is scrunched, no longer in the same aspect ratios. I want it placed in the top right hand corner of the video. I have "keep aspect ratio" selected in the overlay options.

VS12

Thanks!

Whats the size of the still image you are using?

Yes, are you resizing or changing the aspect ratio of the image?

Hi westlight

Also the settings you are using to create the video file would be useful, the template you use.

As you are using HD type video 1440 x 1080 you should use 16:9 option if you are converting your video to standard mpeg.

If you use the 4:3 aspect the final video will be distorted.
