Audio Starts and Stops

The slideshow that I have created includes 4 mp3 files and 136 slides. The first mp3 file plays during the menu presentation for 30 seconds. The remaining mp3 files are played during the subsequent slideshows. The remaining slideshows run one-after-the-other and are fit to run the length of the mp3 file assigned to each show. There are 38 slides in the first two shows, and 60 in the last. After burning the slideshow to dvd, the audio portions will play and then intermittently stop and restart during each mp3 track for the duration of the slideshow when played either on the computer DVD player or my Sony DVP-C660 DVD player attached to the television. My computer is a Dell 8300 P4 w/ 1024MB Ram, 160gb HD, Windows XP SP2 and a 8X TEAC DVD+RW DV-W58E burner. I have tried burning at different speeds. Nothing solves the problem. Can anyone out there help me? I am not getting much help from tech support and I am trying to put together a presentation for my daughter's high school graduation?

Have you tried updating your burning engine from Ulead? Try burning also at a lower speed possible. Disable application running in the background during burning. Hope this helps! ^_^
