Happy with X3 and new cam

Post by janjatul »

My faithful dv cam Panasonic NV-GS70B has been replaced after 7 years. It was 4:3 but produced great picture quality.
I have been reluctant to get a new one after reading on the forum about issues with new compressed video formats and high demands for computer power using HD material.

But my 4:3 videos seem outdated now so I had to jump. And I bought a Panasonic HDC-TM60.

Now I just like to share my happiness. My first project with video from the new cam went without any problems.

X3 performed like a breeze :D :D

So far I have only created Video File / DVD / PAL DVD (16:9), perhaps I should try to make and view a HDV file.

Anyhow I am glad that none of my fears for compressed HD video on X3 came true.
