Rotating Mirror Effect PSPro X

Post by Ken Veal »

To get person A on the right mirrored over person B on the left I have (up to now) just selected " Default" from the presets drop down arrow. My latest
attempt was with an image of 2 people in a field of tall flowers. After selecting default the 2 people dissapear and only the flowers show. What do I have to do
in this instance to get an mirrored image . ...............Ken

Well the default mirrors across the center of the image. Are the two people directly on either side of the image? Or are they one one side?

Have you tried changing the values to see how the information gets pushed around?

You might try setting Horizontal off set to around -25 that is a Minus. then adjust up or down as seams fit. But its not much more then a toy. Mush better is to cut one person out of the image by Duplicating the layer then carefully selecting Point to point or using the background eraser . Once you have that person on its own layer you can move scale bend whatever to your harts content.
doing this type of thing realistically needs a good eye for the subtlety's of how the light is falling on both Persons, and background, Its well worth the learning curve as It can be a very useful technique to know
