moving the edited tracks together
How do i grab and move the edited tracks all together and not individually?

Click on the first clip you want to move, then hold the Shift key while clicking on the last clip you want to move. All in between will be selected and can be moved together.

Welcome to the forums,
What version are you using? With VS X3 & X2, you can use the windows standard multi-select method of Shift+click, to select clips in all tracks except the main video track, and then move them. While you can select a clip in the main video track, it will not move, since by default it slides to the left to prevent empty spaces between clips.
