Your web hosting provider?

Post by 0zas »

I apologize for the possible off-topic. Guys, could you tell me which web hosting company you are using at the moment? I have a problem because my current web hosting company hostrator.com is kicking me off. They say that our website is using too many server resources. But our website only gets 300 visitors per day..

Anyway, what would be your recommendations? Are you happy with your web hosting providers?

I am checking http://www.hosting24.com/ at the moment, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them and they say something like "1000GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will start running out of disk space we will simply add a new 1000GB drive so can continue uploading..".

What do you think about it? Any ideas and web hosting company name suggestions are much appreciated.

Well I"ve given up on web hosting services, I've been though a few, only to have them close their doors. Corel I'm sure has their own servers. Don't put too much into the unlimited claims, there's a gotcha somewhere. Unless they are as large as Google, I find it hard to believe they can offer unlimited anything, bandwidth can be expensive. I'm not going to attempt to recommend any, because the last service I went with, was from a recommendation, and it closed up leaving me high and dry..

I am using one.com/en/ a UK based company gaining popularity. For simple domain hosting they will give you free support. Since 2008 I use their services and never had any problems.

Hello 0zas,

I'm looking for a web host myself, while I have my blog at http://www.000webhost.com, which provide free web host for a limited bandwidth, I'm looking at godaddy and hostgator, for a more stable hosting.

I personally use ix for webhosting. I'm quite content with their bandwidth and uptime. Haven't had any problems so far. Might want to take a look at it.

I use Yahoo! myself. Can't complain, although I don't host too much on my site. Most of it is fed from elsewhere.
