Message, multiple long text

Hello.
I would like to put a message in a video, on word at a time in the same screenshot.
I'm not able to do this, because every new word deletes the previous one because two words in the time line cannot overlap.
Is there a way to put a message with words which display one after the other till the entire message is completed?

You don't say what version you are using, but X3 has multiple title tracks in which you could overlap. But you shouldn't have to do that. Depending on what animation you are using for the titles you can choose for them to enter/exit by letter, word or line.

No, v6 is A LOT old.

I still think the ability to animate letter, word or line was available in v6.

Multiple titles was not available in VS6, which would make this much easier. VS 6 does have the animation options, such as Text, Line, or Letter. You need to go to the Animation tab for your text/title, then at the bottom place a check in the box beside Enable animation. Above that on the animation tab, you have the Start Unit and End Unit, which is where you would set it to Text, line or letter.

You should have a PDF user guide, and around page 54 it describes how to add animation to your text titles..
