Thank you for your help! I have successfully cleared the library.
However, now I am missing the image file entirely. So, I can manipulate video. But when I try to pull a picture the program crashes. I have uninstalled, reinstalled utilities and program, repaired program, run a fix registry program , run Malwarebytes...I can't think of what to try now! Please help if you can. Pulling pictures is a very important function for me. I hate to buy Pinnacle and start over.

I think you need to seriously consider increasing your RAM, 512 MBs of RAM is barely enough to run your OS (WinXP). I would suggest running 2 gig of RAM. You'll find WinXP runs much better, and you probably will not experience the degree of program crashing.

Thank you Ron. 60% of my space in unused so it should be sufficient. Any suggestion about the now missing portion of my program?

No I'm not referring to your hard drive, which is storage space. You're profile shows that you only have 512 MB of RAM (Random Access Memory). I guessed you're running VS X3, which requires a minimum of 1 GB RAM, however going back to your previous post, I discovered you're talking about VS9, which the requirements are 256-512MB RAM.

If you haven't recently updated your Direct X drivers, please go HERE and download the latest version of the DirectX End User Runtimes. The most current release is dated June 2010. The file is quite large, around 95 MB. Before you run the file, first create a temp folder to extract the contents of that file into. I just call the folder for example June 2010 DirectX. When you run the downloaded file it will extract 100+ files, so you will want to have a separate folder for them, and once you're finished you can delete this folder and all those files. Once the files are extracted, look for a file called DXSETUP.exe in that folder, and run it. That will update your DirectX drivers.
