Scripting with PSPX2 and X3 on Windows 7 Prof.
With my new computer I've done everything corel suggests, including updating my graphic drivers, but it freezes every single time I try to run a script. I use the TJP script for "tags." Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this?

Re: Scripting with PSPX2 and X3 on Windows 7 Prof.
I'm sorry, but I don't have a clue what "the TJP script" is, so I can only have a wild guess at the cause of the problem.
Many scripts use a Python add on called "TkInter" to draw a user interface for the script. Corel have somehow managed to make TkInter unusable from within PSP and every script that uses it fails. I don't think a solution to this has yet been found. It will probably need a fix from Corel's end.
It might be some other incompatibility though... many things have changed in PSP and older scripts regularly fail or need updating to run in the latest version.
The best place for scripting help is the Corel Scripting newsgroup - news://cnews.corel.com/corel.PaintShopPro_Scripting. You would need to post a link to the problem script, or certainly more than just the name of the script, for anyone there to be able to help.
