who owns the rights to the music videos?

if you own the rights to the music videos, and you burned them to a dvd disc using a standalone dvd recorder (assuming this from another thread), then just import the videos from dvd disc using DWS's import feature. There's no need to Rip, Encode to Divx, etc...

If you are not going to answer the questions I asked, then I will have to unsubscribe from this thread...

as I mentioned in another thread at the creativecow forums, I am hesitant in helping when their are possible copyrights being violated...

Hi , these are my own videos
i have taped from tv, and have put them on to a dvd blank. They are not off a actual professional dvd. They r ripped from my philips dvd recorder on a normal 4.7gb disc.. The resaon being is because i wanted to make better menus and i fpund the philips one boring.
I hope this answers your question .
best wishes
K

so what version number do you have when you check the "about" in DWS?

Also, when you go to project templates for the mpeg video, what audio formats can you select from?

version 2.0 is not the correct number if the patch was installed successfully. You might want to re-try downloading the patches, and installing them again to see what number appears in the "about" section -- post the new version number once the patch installs.

At this point, please fill out a technical request form for Ulead, and send to their technical support. The forms are at their support pages.

Have your product serial number and/or registration information handy, as they will want that information :)
