Re: NEED HELP WITH VOICE OVER???
Welcome to the forums,
I see a couple of problems, which probably will not be correctable.
1. You're running VS 11 on an OS that it was never intended to be run on. While it is possible, several older versions have been run on Win7, however do not be surprised when problems start creeping up.
2. When doing voice-over, it would be similar to previewing your project in Instant Playback. This has always been a rough preview, and the smoothness of playback will depend on your system, and the complexity of your project.
3. IIRC, even in professional studio setups, there is a short delay of what is heard and the voice over. This is something that the pros have to be able to deal with. People that have tried this for the first time, comment on how difficult it is to become accustom to this delay.
4. VS 11 is a consumer-grade product, far from professional, and what you're expecting, exceeds what VS is capable of..
My suggestion is to become very familiar with your video and audio track that you want to hear. Use the Cue Marks to mark where you want to start and stop your narrations. Then mute the audio for the video track (if that's the audio you're talking about), then proceed on with your narration.
