I am new to VS Pro X3. I have 2 problems:
1) I have created 4 HD video projects using 'Advance Edit'. I then open 1 project and go to 'Share' then 'Create Disc'. The 'DVD Factory' only accepts this project and I cannot add the other 3 to the media tray. How can I add the rest VSP files so that I can burn all 4 onto 1 DVD ?
2) I have also used 'DVD Factory' to add chapters to a different 'standalone' project. When I use 'Preview' before DVD burn, the 'chapter 1' plays the entire movie and does not stop at where 'chapter 2' is and so on. Did I do anything wrong ?
Thanks...

1. you need all 4 projects in one project to burn to one disc.
2. Chapters do this, you need to have titles to return back after playing.

Re: How to burn multi-projects to 1 DVD
okay Graham, so I merge the 4 projects into 1. I do not quite understand your answer to (2). After the merge, there is only 1 title and the scene selections will have chapter 1 to 4 corresponding to project 1 to 4. Playing chapter 1 still takes me thru the whole movie and not just showing project 1 porion. Did I miss anything ? Thx...

May be a good idea to give the DVD FACTORY the flick and tuse the replacement sent out via corel for X3 users. DVD Movie Factory SE.jy123 wrote:I am new to VS Pro X3. I have 2 problems:

With you projects you should be able to generate an MP2 Video file for each project.
Open DVD Movie Factory SE and import each MP2 FILE you just created.

Re: How to burn multi-projects to 1 DVD
ps. I converted the VSP project files to MPEG4. I put 2 projects on the menu and they show as seperate titles. Still, when I play Project (Title) 1, it plays the entire movie and does not stop at ehere Project (Title) 2 is. I do not know what did I miss ?Though the system hangs but the DVD was burned and does not seem anything missing...

You chose the wrong format, you need MPEG2.jy123 wrote:ps. I converted the VSP project files to MPEG4. I put 2 projects on the menu and they show as seperate titles. The controls you want are in Preferences
Before you burn your DVD in MF7se, open up Preferences and check the bottom section called Navigation controls ; if the Auto repeat when disc playback ends Button is checked, click on it to uncheck it, and then open the Clip playback box and select Back to menu
Now, instead of each chapter playing in order though all the chapters, each chapter plays to its end then returns to your menu.

Thomas Wick

Re: How to burn multi-projects to 1 DVD
Thank you all for the info. I have converted 2 projects to MPEG2. I burn the DVD but the process ended with 'A generic error has occurred. Make sure that the burner is ready and try again'. When I play the DVD, the video seems to be there.
What happens here ? Please help. Also, since my source files are HD (M2TS), can I get a HD quality output and that's the reason I was converting the files to 'HD MPEG4' before ???
