"Display Environment..Content Playback" Message
I've seen this post a number of times, but none of the cases seem to apply to me, so I'll give it another shot. I upgraded from WINDVD 5 to WINDVD 8 just to get better video playbacks on regular DVDs and WMV files. I didn't want any bells or whistles, and I'm not using Blu Ray or any special DVDs for playback; just commercially available DVDs in the age old "old" format. I never got the message "Your Display Environment Does Not Support Protected Content Playback" before under WINDVD 5. I don't think I'm using any special equipment, although I tried to fill out my hardware and software profile using Belarc (there is not always a one to one mapping from Belarc's output to filling out one's profile, so any errors or omissions are purely accidental and not incomplete or erroneous because of intent). None of my DVDs will now play, since I always get this error message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What is the model of the monitor you are using and how is it connected to the system?abradaxis wrote:I've seen this post a number of times, but none of the cases seem to apply to me, so I'll give it another shot. How many Monitors or display devices (e.g. TV or Projector) to you have connected to the system?
