Split screen on standalone

Im having a similar problem as mentioned in this thread:

I have tried a dvd i have made in Ulead Moviefactory in several different DVD players. It worked fine on 3 different types aswell as my PC.

However, on one standalone DVD when it came to play the videos, it split the screen in 3. Black on bottom and 2 top halfs play the same video next to eachother.

The menu comes on fine, its just the videos which do this. Anyone know why?

I captured the videos at DV full quality .avi in another program then converted them to .MPEG2 - 480x576 - 44.1khz - 224 data rate. These were the presets were typical SVCD settings.

Any ideas?
