Videostudio 9 cauing longer shutdown

I've been using Videostudio 9 for just over year and I'm just getting around to this question! Before I installed my PC would take about 60 to 90 seconds to shutdown. I'm almost positive that the shutdown time extended after the install. The PC now takes consistantly over 4 minutes to shutdown.

Over the past year I have used various PC cleaning utilities and the machine has been improved as a result. However, the one area that has stubbornly remained is the long shutdown time! Videostudio itself works absolutely fine.

Have any other VS 9 users noticed the same?

PC is Windows XP (SP1), 512Mb, AMD Athlon 2000, ATI Radeon 7000, AVG Anti-Virus, ZoneAlarm.

I've noticed that the UVS 9 process itself can take a long time (up to ten seconds maybe) to disappear after I close it down, but I've not noticed an impact on my system's shutdown time.

I would go to the Microsoft Website at the support section and look for
the answer. Many windows systems can do that.

Are you running in single mode or "Quick User Switching Mode"?
