Monotone to full color filter

Post by mitchell65 »

I'm sure I did this once before but can't remember how. I want to start the clip in B&W and over say 4 secs change to full color. I'm using VS x3. I'm sure I found a filter for this but my brain has gone woolly!
M2TS clip. 1440 x 1080px UFF
Any help much appreciated as ever. How

Did you try the Hue & Saturation filter?

John,

The Color Pass filter in Media Studio Pro did the trick effortlessly. Workaround for VideoStudio, Two tracks>original color video and copy of color video with Monochrome filter then apply crossfade transition.

What a good idea. Will give it a go and see if it suits better than the Hue and Sat. filter.
