Windows Error when opening Slideshow window

I recive the message"Ulead DVD MovieFactory has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." in the usual Windows dialogue box when I go to add a slideshow in a project.

It did this once before and I had to go back as far as re-formatting and reinstalling Windows to fix the problem. It worked for a while and then on a recent project I deleted a slide show and the next time I came back to either a new project or old project this error ocurrs when I go to open the slideshow editor.

I have uninstalled (cleaned out all persistent files), reinstalled (including patches, burning engine update etc) and still same problem.

Has anyone else experienced this?

have the same problem, no one has been able to help. frustrating
