can I alter image length en-masse?
I have made quite a long DVD entirely of images and sound. After burning I realise that every image is a tad too fast for the music to compliment i.e. the music is soft and melodic yet the images (7secs) with a 2 sec transition either side appear to be irritatingly fast. To cut a long story short, I want to increase the images lengths by 1 sec, but, there are so many it would take me longer than our MP's deciding who's to govern Britain to achieve. Is there a way I can perhaps format the whole video with my required image length? Had I realised before viewing, I know I could have set the length in preferences - too late now!

What are you using? In X3 you simply select the clips, right click, and choose Change Duration.

Hi, thanks for response, are using VS11 have tried to select clips by selecting first to last while holding down shift but just selects last clip. If I can get this to work, I assume it will not alter transition length?

With VS 11, you need to:
1. Select the first clip
2. Press and hold down the Shift key
3. Select the last clip
4. Go to the Clip menu and select Change image/clip duration.
The duration of the transitions will not be affected..
