I really struggled with regard to where I should be posting this but it is my understanding that MF7SE is only for use with VideoStudio Pro X3 so here it goes...
I'm a new user to VSPX3 and am thrilled with its feature set and how rock solid it is with all types of formats including AVCHD. However, when it came to DVD Factory Pro 2010 I liked what it could do but am used to having much more control over the final product. I was encouraged by earlier posts with regard to MF7SE and anxiously awaited the ability to download it. Well, last night it was available to me so I downloaded it (through "Do More") but during the installation process there was a very brief error with a code number and reference to drive "M:\" and then it aborted. I do have a drive M:\ but VSPX3 is installed on C:\. I attempted to re-download MF7SE (it is still available to me under "Do More") but it does absolutely nothing. I had this same problem with Style Pack # 6 but found the link to download it (as opposed to using "Get More") and installed it that way.
I'm looking for ideas/suggestions as to what I should try next.
Thank you!

Re: Installing DVD MovieFactory 7 SE
Downloading again may be doing nothing because it thinks it has already been installed. Have you tried completely removing it before downloading it again?

There is nothing to remove, that I'm aware of.
I did contact Corel's technical support and they offered a link for MF7SE. They were very helpful! I'll give it a try tonight and hope for the best.

Re: Installing DVD MovieFactory 7 SE
Per Corel tech support's instructions, I downloaded DVD MovieFactory 7 SE from the link provided and ran it as an administrator and it generated the same message during installation: "Error 1327.Invalid Drive M:\". I thought it may have something to do with the fact that the My Videos directory (under Windows 7) pointed to a resource on drive M:\ so I changed it to the default location of "C:\Users\username" but it generated the same message.

Re: Installing DVD MovieFactory 7 SE
I solved the problem! Seems that something in my registry was pointing to my M:\ drive which I had recently changed to point to a network drive. I had also relabeled what used to be a separate hard drive M:\ as L:\ and that threw something off in the installation process.
To fix the problem all I had to do was to "disconnect" the mapped drive M:, relabel the 2nd, physically attached hard drive M:\, and all worked as designed.
Now if I can just figure out what in my registry is pointing to the wrong place I'll avoid future concerns.
I hope this helps someone else down the road...
