Daylight Savings Time Patch

Along with not being able to apply the VS 8.01 update, I also can not install the Daylight Savings Time Patch, same problem, the insatll says it can not find VS 8 installed on my computer. I did not upgrade, this is the first version of VideoStudio I have ever installed or owned. Any sugestions or do I have to wait till Jan 5th to call support?
