How would I change the color brightness contrast etc. settings to achieve a cinematic look for a vid??

Depends on what program you're using, and what version. Could you please enlighten us so we can limit the number of guesses?

Yep, that's them, but so far we don't know if the OP is using VS Pro X3 or an earlier version. Also looking at your screenshot, it looks like you've got some duplication of filters going on...;)
