name of both movie and subtitle file is same, others players like VLC automatically catch but WinDVD isnt.

i am running an .AVI movie along with subtitles but subtitles are not displayed during the movie

WinDVD will play subtitles on a VideoDVD - the sort of thing you rent or buy from the shops.
It does not support subtitles on DivX Movies.
