Invalid Parameter during render x3 pro

Post by MovieBuff »

I am attempting to render a 55 min film (MPEG 2 BD High Definition) with smartsound music and around 30% mark it is dropping out with Invalid Parameter 15045 message.

I made a copy of the timeline and then tried to re-render after deleting all the smartsound music and it completes OK.

Any clues as to where the invalid parameter is? I have used smartsound tracks before with no problem. ( The only reference I can see
to this error message is on a much older Ulead program in these forum pages).

Thanks

What you can try is this. Since you think it is the Smartsound causing the problem try converting the Smartsound music to a wav file. With your project in the timeline go to Share>Create Sound File. Then replace the Smartsound music with your new wav file and see if it renders.

For anyone else reading this thread may be interested to note that I learnt that the program does not like (will not render) an overlap of the two types of smartsound music, ie strata series and producer series. If they are kept separated, it renders fine. Also if overlaps occur from the same series - that's ok too! Good luck!

Thanks, that's useful to know. I guess I have always managed to avoid this since I use the big brother to QuickTracks, namely Sonic Fire Pro, and I output the edited SmartSound tracks as standard .wav files. That way there would be no trouble in overlapping should I want to do that.

But from my own point of view, the point of SmartSound is that you shouldn't need to overlap since you can output a SmartSound track to have a very specific and accurate duration....
