Muti-trim feature not accessible (shaded out)

Muti-trim feature not accessible (shaded out)
The Multi-trim Video feature does not appear to be accessible in the Options Panel. It is always shaded out. I have no problem accessing the Single Clip Trimmer. I am running with Pro X3.

Welcome to the forums,
Is the clip in the Library or on the timeline? The video clip must be on the main video track for the multi-trim feature to be activated. What video file type are you working with?

The clip was in the Library when I was having the problem. I stumbled onto the fact that I needed to have it on the timeline shortly after I posted the message. Thanks for your prompt response. Sorry I am so late in getting back to you.
