PSPX2/Windows7/Fonts

Post by krys1202 »

I have PSPX2 and I have always been able to open an uninstalled font, minimize it to the Task Bar, making the font available for use in PSP until it was closed.

However, with Windows 7 I can no longer use an open font. It seems the font has to actually be installed to work.

I do not install extra fonts to my Windows/Fonts because I have always been told that the more fonts installed the slower the computer runs and the risk of crashing is greater.

Does anyone know how to allow Windows 7 and PSP to work together in recognizing uninstalled fonts?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Thank you for the information.

I'll give it a try, but I know I'll miss simply being able to open a font for use. LOL
