I have PSP X3 running, trying to do image/screen capture on Win-7 platform. It will capture most things but not a java application I run out of the x86 programs directory.
Oddly, my older PSP version (7.04) captures that java application fine but not other applications. What's the difference? And, is there some way to get capture to work for all screens????

Have you tried just pressing the [PrtSc] key on your keyboard - that captures the entire screen
[Alt]+[PrtSc] will capture the active window.
Then paste it into your image editing program.

I understand your suggestion, thanks. Problem is I need to capture 300-400 screen per day while working and without shifting to my image program each time. I used to do this in PSP, but then had to save all the images to files at end of day. I've found "snag-it" by techsmith.com which allows you to capture each image directly to a file so at end of day I have all my images saved as .png files in a directly - just what I wanted. The Corel product won't capture certain applications. They suggested changing hotkeys but that's not the issue and does not change the outcome.
If you come across any freeware that does background capture to individual files I'd LOVE it. Otherwise Snag-it is about $40 I think and worth it since it actually works with win-7.
