Hi All,
I am about to beat my head against the wall. I can place videos or photos or whatever into VS pro X3. When I am in Timeline view (or storyboard) I can play individual "clips" fine, but I cannot play the entire "project." It will only play about .1 second and stop. I tried the help and forum but I cannot find anyone else with this problem. In the old days I would just uninstall and reinstall however I thought we were finally past that.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Tks
Bruce

Re: Stops on "project" review
I determined a work around. When the SW just stops I reboot and everything works again. I have to do this every 15 to 20 minutes. I have the minimums but still probably needs more PC power.
Thanks for the insight. Bruce

Re: Stops on "project" review
I have a Core 2 Duo HP laptop which seems to run X3 just fine, including with high definition HDV and AVCHD video -- though playback in project mode gets a bit jumpy. Maybe if you told us a bit more about your project, including the format of the video, what editing you are doing to it, and what you are hoping to produce, someone might be able to help and you wouldn't have to reboot all the time... That doesn't strike me as an effective work-around...!
