pasted text size from forums

Since the "new" forum- text copied and pasted from it shows in 7.5 font size, is there a way of changing this to paste into MS Word 2003 as 12 font size........

No way that I can find, so just change the font size in MS Word once you have pasted the text into it.

You can alter the size between small, medium, large by clicking the text size button.

No wonder I couldn't find that, it is only present with the Pro Silver board setting, not the sub-silver 2..

have used both options on both arrows of size button and they all still show as 7.5 in Word

In your User Control Panel, there is the option for 2 board layouts, the default for phpBB3 is Pro Silver, the second option is Sub Silver2, which resembles the old phpBB2 web board. Some of the newer features of phpBB3 are not present with the Subsilver 2 layout..

I think the penny has just dropped -- at least for me!

I too had wondered what you had done to resolve the problem. After reading the posts by Jeff and your obvious puzzlement, I re-read your earlier post about resolving your issue, and see that you had already included the solution, namely:

copy- edit-paste special-unformatted text

So in retrospect, thanks!!

My fault really, should have made a better description of exactly what I was on about.But I will glory in thefact I was able to help, dont suppose useful advice
