anyone else...

Post by bgd73 »

get an email to participate in "corel you way" surveys?

I never humor that kind of thing, but I did, and even setup an account. I was curious to see how wide spread the spam launch was by corel with users here, etc.

I thought it may be for some serious questions for users of several years and several editions of a particular software by corel, but it was easy going instead....

I do not consider them as spam, it is normal for software companies to send out special offers to anyone who has previously purchased one of their products - from memory I recall there is normally an opt out option.
Spam is when some unknown person/organisation send unwarranted stuff out to people in an attempt to get them to buy something they don't want.
There is a good article on this here.
