Creating scrolling subtitles problem(please help)

Post by mjjt »

Hi there,

I'm a new user of Videostudio Pro x3. It works perfect but there is one thing i can't create..... subtitles. I mean not the standard titles as shown in the text menu, but subtitles that scroll like in a real documentary. Can someone please explain me how i can create them, so that the text is continuously scrolling while the film is playing.

Sorry for my bad English,

kind regards and waiting for your answer,

Mark

Hi Mark
The video on that link does not seem to be active, sorry………

There is a link from this post
http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?t=7029
that shows the tickertape scrolling right to left.

Quick Note Using X2 (sorry I don’t have X3)

With your title selected on the preview screen,
Select the Animation tab.
Select Apply Animation
Select the Type as Fly
You can use one of the presets or set your own
Select the two TT’s symbol to manually set your animation

Experiment with the other options.

Hi Mark

There are some tutorials on YouTube

http://www.youtube.com/user/PhotoVideoE ... 868D3E5FF0

The ‘Attributes’ tab

Create a Title, select the title in the timeline then select it in the Preview Screen.
To the right of the preview screen below the library are two tabs, Edit and Attributes
Select the attributes tab then select Animation button.

Broken Video fixed.

here is a short and simple "video" created by forum member Thoff
describing how to create a scrolling news like ticker tape at the bottom of your video.
