Paint Shop Pro X2ultimate question about thumbs

Post by lovetheboy »

Hello all this is my first time here

I wanted to know I found in C Drive ny name application data corel and inside there is a folder called Thumbs. in there I have 455MB huh

I am not sure but can I delete that or if it is necessary to keep it sure looks to me that it is a big file lots of folder in there with a lot of stuff....

What does that mean and do I leave it there or not..... seems to me to be a lot of stuff there and may be is slowing the pc...

I am running window 7 pro 64 bit with an asus p6t I7 920 processor 6 gig of memory ddr3 video card g force 9500

Any help would be so much appreciated as I almost deleted the stuff but stopped just in time lol don't want to loose all my stuff like gradient tubes and mask and preset I really don't know what is all of that.

Please help thank you so much Gin

If you open it up you'll see it's full of thumbnails for images you've had open.

I've deleted it myself on a number of occasions without any adverse effects. That doesn't mean it should be deleted, however, it just means it can be.

The file Is a cache of thumbs for the organiser Deleting it will make the organiser recreate them and slow down PSP whilst its doing so

oh ok thank you so much cause I am having problems with the loading of my tubes in there or may be I should not have my tubes load there but anyway thank you so much for the answer. It is because I am finding that more and more it takes forever to load the files in the organiser it is very very slow and my pc is new and I have lots of memory so I was wondering thank you
