I'm not at all sure what you mean by "all I see is a camera shoved in my face when I go search for a particular tube".
How are you searching for the tube? In Windows Explorer, PSP's Organizer or the samples on the Tools Options palette... or maybe somewhere else?

I presume you mean that you don't see thumbnails in folders that you're browsing via Windows Explorer. This is normally handled by an extra component that is added to the Windows shell by PSP's installer, but seems to have problems with 64 bit versions of Windows.
The third party thumbnail handler from Bot Productions has worked for many people in that situation (http://www.botproductions.com/pspthumb/index.html).
Otherwise try emailing Corel support to see if they know of a fix - http://corel.custhelp.com/.
