Uploading Photos and they have a Pink Layer

Post by Mysty723 »

I just started uploading my Photos to my new website, some of the photo's are uploading with a Pink Layer on top of them. Now I called Tech Support for my website and after alot of troubleshooting we determined it was somewhere in my Picture Editing Process that this was happening. So after playing around and using one step at a time and uploading a photo after each step it helped me find what the problem is. Here is what is happening and I hope someone can help, Im sure it has to do with the Save Preferences.

Ok now after editing a photo then putting my watermark on it I hit save and move on to editing my next photo. Well it seems hitting "Save" is causing the problem. Because if I hit "Save As" then it saves the photo and uploads to my website without the Pink Layer over it. So why is this happening? and is it something in the Save Preferences that is making this happen? and if so what do I need to change so that I can just use "Save" instead of "Save As".

Thanks in advance of any help with this problem.

Go to Save as and click the options button and note the settings then do save and hit the options button and make then the same. Though I cant think of how a pink cast could be created

I think it also has something to do with where Im uploading them as well, because I uploaded those same pics to a Photo Album and they are fine. But uploading them into my Shopping Cart Program with Go-Daddy seems to have a pink layer on top and after isolating and applying all the things I did to each pic I came up with the "save". So I've been just hitting "Save As" on all the photos now and they are uploading fine, but I have to do it to over 1,000 of them. Just glad I now know this little glich because I still have about 2000 more photo's to fix, watermark, save and upload. Im going to try your suggestion tonight and hopefully that will work because it will be easier to do that.
