Edit Room on MovieFactory 6+

In looking over the various posts concerning MovieFactory v6+, I found the following comment by Ron P.:

Can someone recommend an idiot proof and inexpensive program for editing "mpg" videos?

The obvious one you are going to get recommended in this forum is Video Studio, the 'sister' application to MF...
