Nope, my bad though, I didnt mean codecs, but the render options when you hit the custom > WMV > and theres a drop down with presets, and there were some HD ones that are gone.

Do a Search for your username. That WMV Profile thread is on the first or second page. In fact I nearly referred you to that one, but since you were specifically talking about codecs, I went on to find the other link above!

I downloaded the windows media 9 thing and it didn't add them. It did last time, so I don't know why this time it would not.

Also when I render in WMV > HD settings it's like 200x100 in size. =S

Ok so my last thread got locked :?: Still don't know why.

Well here's what happens:
When ever I do a render the video size is something like 200x100 pixels in size. I've rendered in WMV > WMV HD (both settings), WMV > WMV Broadband, WMV > WMV Zune (the 640x400 pixel one)

The video clips were all different, they aren't the problem since I've rendered using those clips in the past. Here's what happens:

Ok good the DV render setting worked pretty good.. but I always liked using WMV ... a LOT smaller in video size. What's happening?

Ok so my last thread got locked Still don't know why.

Because you said:
Ignore my last post in my last thread, anytime I try to render a video, it renders it thumbnail size (200x100 pixels, avg).
Is that a statement? A question? It made no sense, so Ken locked it.

Back to your issue. What are the properties of one of these clips after it is rendered to one of your WMVs? Let's use the Zume 640x400 one as the example for now.

No, I locked it because it should have been continued here, as it is... because this thread gives it a context, and the other one essentially gave very little information that made any sense out of this context.

You need to install version 9 of the Windows media encoder...

I did, I downloaded it, and it didn't work, but I'm trying it again...

*several minutes later ...*

Nope, didn't work. I'm gonna roll back by graphic card driver update because all this seemed to start happening after I updated it...

I couldn't do a roll-back, but I did update my driver with no change.

Also when I open VS my screen turns black for 2 seconds, and everytime I play a clip (not on the timeline) it blinks black, and when I stop playing the clip, it blinks black.
