No Input Signal
I'm using VS 9 and recently upgraded to a new laptop with Windows 7. I got the drivers to use the capture card, but whenever I go to record, it pops up this box (Can't really remember exactly) No input signal or signal not found or something, Continue anyway? If I click yes, it records, but the little thumbnail is black, until you start playing it. When you pause it or end it however, it goes black again.

Re: No Input Signal
VS9 is at least 5 years old and certainly wasn't made to work with Windows 7. With that said, have you updated your DirectX? (see Sticky at the top of the forum) It fixes a lot of preview issues.
You say the thumbnail is black, but the clip plays ok?

Re: No Input Signal
It's weird...the thumb is black, and when you click on it, the preview is still all black. But if you press play it starts the clip and shows it until you press pause or it ends, then it goes black again. So if I were to pause it it would go black, then I could play the rest and it would show the rest too. Really weird.

Re: No Input Signal
Well not really, when you are dealing with an old program in a much newer operating system. Stranger things can -- and do -- happen in such cases, such as the program not working at all. Consider yourself lucky that VS9 works at least a bit...!
