Hi all,
1920 x 1080 pics!
I want them to slide from left to right continously.
at FX I've found "video pan & zoom" but I don't need zoom, pan only is ok for me!
I also found a box as "no panning"! Is there any "no zooming"??
Thanks in advance.
No zooming, panning only pls!

Not sure if VS can do this, but it sounds more like you need a slideshow piece of software rather than a video editing one.

Thank you for reply!
I played with zoom settings / key frames. Bring it in the middle (the other "+" sign) and also tried to make a slight zoom like 5% but VS didn't allowed it!

Re: No zooming, panning only pls!
I'm a little confused as to what you're really after. Are you wanting the images to enter from the right and exit to the left (or vice-versa), or are you really wanting to pan the image from left to right?
If you're wanting them to enter and exit, then place them in an overlay track, or use several overlay tracks. Then on the attribute tab under Direction/Style, select the arrow in the Enter and Exit boxes that correspond to the directions you're wanting. You can resize the images by dragging the grab handles found in the corners in the preview window, or right-click and choose Fit to Screen from the menu. In fact you can place them in the main video track, set your Pan or zoom up, add your transitions, then select all the images and drag them to an overlay track. Now apply the direction and style, which will give you both panning and the images entering and exiting.
If you're just wanting them to enter and exit the stage from left to right, use an overlay track, and select the direction arrows. If you are not wanting them to pause, then slide the pause/duration handles to the center so they are together. Or have them pause after entering.
Also it would be helpful if we knew what version of VS you're using. With VS Pro X3, there is the New Blue PiP filter that is very powerful, and I think would allow what you're wanting.

Re: No zooming, panning only pls!
Thank for your reply!
I added a video here :
[vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/10838781[/vimeo]
This is almost what I wanted expect heavy zooming!
Let me ask first! Can I fool the progam??
For example, the pics are 2048 x 1520. I'll open a new photoshop file like 4000 x 4000 or 4000 x 3000 then drag my original jpegs in it then save them.
So, when the program zoomed in, my pics will remain uncropped???
Also will they have a resolution like 2000 x 1200, after zooming in???
"If you're wanting them to enter and exit, then place them in an overlay track, or use several overlay tracks"
I've tried this but black parts occur between the pics. They don't follow each other continously, without interruption!

Re: No zooming, panning only pls!
Ok, you are just after panning.. Next consider what your target output is to be, internet (Vimeo, YouTube,), SD DVD or one of the HD (hybrid Blu-Ray or Blu-Ray AVCHD). The reason is the maximum frame dimensions for that. For example if you are going to put your production on a SD DVD, the frame size for PAL DVD is 720 x 576. So any image that you have will be resized, not cropped to fit that frame size. Using the larger pixel dimensions is good only when you're going to be zooming in on them.
