I don't know if I am missing something, but I do not appear to be able to "flip" an object after pasting.
In PhotoPaint I can copy & paste a .CPT file onto almost any other image (irrespective of the image format) and then proceed to resize/rotate/skew and flip to my hearts content.
As PaintShopPro does not seem to support .CPT files (a very great loss I believe) I have attempted to save my image "cutouts" in PSPImage format with the intention of pasting them onto another image at a later date. (Transparent background on cutouts.)
If I cannot "flip" these cutouts I shall be forced to use PhotoPaint to create a right handed and left handed image and then convert/create my "cutouts" in PSPro.
This means twice the work and twice the storage space.
Hope I have explained OK?
Can anyone help please?
Thanks,
Ian
PS - I am using PSPro X3

Re: Flip Object after Pasting
Flipping is top to bottom Mirror is reversing horizontally. Providing an image is on a regular layer there is no problem. Chances are your image is on a background layer so first promote to layer either from the layer menu or from the context manager of the layers pallet.
So I presume you want to make your images on a transparent background and saved in a format that both Applications can use So if PSP and Cpt are out what about CDR ? Or even PSD as in adobe Then again you can save transparency in alpha channels in PNG and Tiff if all else fails save with a plain white Background that can be removed with a click with the wand
