Save menu looks like windows 95

Post by iamgregor »

For some reason my copy of Photoimpact 11 on Windows 7 doesn't work right. When I select "color on screen" and use the eyedropper, it doesn't work and won't change the cursor to an arrow or anything else until I hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE. Also my save menu doesn't look like it should. It used to be correct, but recently changed to something that reminds me of Windows 95 or 98. I have to select the disk drive from a drop-down list and none of the ALT+key or CTRL+key shortcuts work (ALT+F for file menu, CTRL+Z for undo).

I've had the problem with the save menu on two different windows 7 computers and I've had the eyedropper problem on more than 3 different computers (XP and Windows 7).

What causes this? How do I make it stop?

You maybe better updating to PhotoImpact X3 whilst it is being offered at a cheaper price. It will more than likely work better on your machine.
I do know of others who have PIX3 and Win7 and have no problems at all.

I did not like PI11 it was far too buggy. I don't have Win 7 (yet!) so can't help you with that.
