I was using Paintshop Photo Pro X3 and was going to "Effects" Time machine. When I tried to open Time machine I got the following message
"Internal program error: Invalid execution path encountered"
Just wonder if anyone else has run into this problem.
I am using Windows Home XP.

Re: Tiime Machine Internal Program Error
So far I've not been able to replicate this. I've tried it using my desktop, running WinXP HP SP3. I used several different photos, and different formats. Try clearing your cache for windows, by going to C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name Here\Local Settings\Temp. The Local Settings folder is a hidden folder so you will need to ensure you can see hidden files and folders. To do that, in a Windows Explorer window, go to the Tools menu, select Folder Options, the click on the View tab. In the Advanced Settings window, locate the Hidden files and folders, change the radial button from Do not show hidden files and folders, to Show Hidden files and folders.
Have you tried using different photo files? If not you might try another image file to see if it still throws the same error. You might also try just rebooting your computer. Sometimes doing just that will clear up some problems. Last resort, you may have to re-install, or at least to a Repair install of the program.

Re: Tiime Machine Internal Program Error
Thanks for getting back to me. I should mention that it didn't happen every time. When I closed the program and started it the next day it seemed fine, but being a "noob" when it comes to this stuff, I panicked and looked for an answer right away. So i will continue to follow this and see what happens today.
Again, thanks
Again, thanks
