transferring files to viedo

Hi,

I'm new here, and I have a basic question. I'm using ver. 9 trial right now. I have figured out how to burn dvd's but I have a movie that I need to transfer back to my vcr. I've been reading the posts and from what I can see, they all talk about burning them to dvd.

Can someone walk me through the steps required to transfer the movie to my vcr? Thanks.

Outputting video from a PC, just like capturing it on your PC, requires a hardware device. What hardware do you have right now?

If you don't have a video card with TV Out support, a dedicated digital to analog converter, or a digital (MiniDV) camcorder, you can always burn a DVD and then record that using a VCR.

I have the ATI 9600 All-in-wonder card. Forgive my ignorance, but what other information do you need? Thanks for helping.

If I want to transfer a completed project back to vcr, what I do is:

1) Burn the project to DVD
2) Place the DVD in a DVD player and copy directly to my vcr.
