Well, to add my snippy two cents (again!!) :) , I think Corel could make a few more improvements.... how hard could integrated panoramas be??? I do find, in general, X3 more buggy than X2.... for example, every now and then, maybe once every 4-5 times, X3 won't open. Starts up, I get the tool bars on the right monitor and the main screen is a big blank white spot. I've let it sit like that for about 5 minutes just to see if it was slow loading. Nope, wasn't going to open. Yet after I shut it down with task manager, it opens great the next 4-5 times.... I don't recall that ever happening with X2. Ah well..........

Just wondering if you had a chance to text the text tool again?

pdx I thought it was just me, I have exactly the same problem. Hmmm... I usually have to shut it down and try again. Aggravating to say the least.

Yes, I messed with it (but didn't return to the help file.) So, I put in some text and hit apply...... fine.... resize and move around. Add some more text....hit apply fine. Double click on the second text and I can again, resize and move it..... but "apply" is non-functional. Also, if I double click on text #1, nothing happens..... "apply" is non-functional, and it does not let me resize or move it. Oddly, in both cases (resize-moving text 2 or just double clicking on text #1) I cannot "apply" it. However, when I go to close the image, it says I must apply or cancel the text operation. Hmmmmmm.

Can you click on the blue arrow button next to the green checkmark button? That's the cancel changes button. If you don't actually change the text while in the edit mode it doesn't allow you to apply changes.

The Blue arrow will allow you to exit the edit mode and continue on with your work.

Ok I see what you mean.

Line 1:
Text tool, text, apply button, move, resize, "A".
Line2:
Text tool, text, apply button, move, resize, "A".

To edit any line of text. Program will select last line entered for resize/edit.
If you want another line double click it instead.

I select Text tool, double click the line I want, type any character in the text line and backspace over it.
Then Apply, resize then "A".

If I have double clicked the wrong line you can use the Cancel Button.

Again another line to edit.
In the case of a double click (selection) to edit text I type any character in the text line and backspace over it. Then Apply, resize then "A".

Edit:
Also to modify a everything in a line:

Double click the line you want, drag cursor to highlight the whole line and change Font/Size/Stroke-Fill Colors, etc. in Tool Options, Apply, then, A.

All text edits ultimately end with the "A" key (Pan Tool).
