The Do More option in X3

Post by LeviFiction »

The new option in the plugins section of the Effects Menu "Do More..." is never available for me and I can't find any reference to it in the online help documents.

The tool description is "Do More about AP"

Does anyone know what this is?

Hi Levi, I'm only guessing here but I believe that Do More... is designed for integration for bundled programs like the Video Studio bundle.

Click Help > Corel Guide, and look at the Do More tab. Maybe they are leaving this as an open ended option to include other software in the future. I don't know.

The same feature in Video Studio X3 has added lots of extra resources. But, as usual for Corel's red-headed stepchild, PSP has got zilch.

So it does. It now points to those KPT filters people have been wanting.

There are now some scripts available for download as well. Nothing spectacular, but I'm feeling the love baby.

Well, two questions: 1) I got the filters...but they downloaded and installed automatically.... is the install file somewhere on my computer so I can install them myself (should the need arise.) 2) Where are the scripts you mention?

TIA

Go to your Program Data folder it's a hidden folder so you'll need to set your folder options to show hidden folders. Then go to Corel and downloads. You'll find all of the downloads Corel has grabbed and pick and choose.

C:\Program Data\Corel\Downloads\

The scripts can be found using the same dialog that popped up when you clicked Do More... Or the orange button next to the Organizer and Express Lab buttons.

Otherwise known as the Corel Guide

It's under the title Learn More.

Well mine is labeled PSPPX3_KPT_01.exe

It's the KPT part that gave it away for me.

However I only have three downloads, the KPT, the Patch, and the scripts.
