I just got my first "editors theme kits" from DJ. I've gotten the overlays and everything else to work well, I just can't get the transitions (DJ calls them "swipes") to work properly. The tutorial on DJ is for a much older version of Ulead and the options it describes are completly unavailable, or unfound by me on proX2. Can anyone using the swipes from DJ with prox2 give me a quick explanation. Thanx in advance.
Hereis the link to the Ulead tutorial on DJ.com

Just wanted to do a quick update. I was able to use the DJ swipe as a basic overlay, the one I was using has a moment in the middle of the clip where there is no transpanency, so I met the two images up right at this frame. But, by watching the video from the link I'd included, (even though it is an outdated Ulead demonstration) there is definately more detail to this. Also, thanks to the guys here for recommending the Digital Juicer. What I got from this is unbelievable, it has immediately made our television braodcasts superb! I don't even have the words to describe what a change this has made. The only thing that has had this much impact was reading through our HHD HD camcorders' entire manual. Who would have thought that a few setting's adjustments/mode changes on the camera would have had SUCH an impact! Like, the little button for recording a subject who's lighted from behind: large windows behind the pulpit) This should have been obvious all along, but leave it to me to think like a brick. I was recording in HD then during the editing bringing it down to SD. By recording in SD HG it made all of the difference in the world.

No, the tutorial is for Media Studio Pro, the professional big brother of VideoStudio that is no longer in production or even supported by Corel. I doubt that what the tutorial advises would be easily replicated in VS, if at all.The tutorial on DJ is for a much older version of Ulead and the options it describes are completly unavailable, or unfound by me on proX2.
