I want to add some gradients to my pspX3.....on pspX2 Ultimate there were a list of #'s I had to learn.....(apparently writing the word gradient was too difficult)...gradient was 'Corel_06....I don't see the numbers...how do I add....I know the path...C-program files-Corel-X3-
then what?? And why do they keep changing it???? Jasc was easy just naming each one....gradients...patterns....swatches....then Corel named Corel_01; Corel_02...etc. I had to write them all up and print it off so I knew which was which. Now it's changed again...
Help!
how do I add to pspX3?

They still are named simply for you.
You're looking at the program files but PSP offers you a special folder for adding gradients, brushes, patterns, textures, shapes, workspaces, presets and so on and so forth.
It's in a special folder named My PSP Files and can be found in your documents folder.
These are automatically looked at by PSP so if you want to add gradients just go to your documents folder -> My PSP Files -> Gradients and drop them in there. PSP will recognize it and you don't have to go digging around anymore.

I did not know that! Thank you again. One of the gals in a psp group I'm in made up a sheet of all the Corel #'s....I'm going to tell the group about this too....is that okay? Why doesn't Corel put out a printed user's guide anymore?? That was the main reason I asked to have the disk sent to me rather than take the download version. I tried to find this in the "help" but couldn't find it.

Did it automatically go to dotted line? Or did you switch to the dotted line and now it won't switch bacK?
Can you switch it to any other line styles? Is the retain style checkbox checked?
I can't replicate it by just using the tool. And I've never done seen it either so I have no specific ideas. Maybe the settings and what you've done might help.
If it started with a straight line I can suggest one thing.
With the tool selected on the tool options bar click on the button that says "presets."
In the drop down box you'll see a blue dot with a white arrow in it under neath a diskette icon. This is your reset options button. Click this to reset all of the settings for this tool. You'll find this same thing for every tool in case you want to get the factory defaults back.
